The Vermilion Golf & Country Club is situated in the heart of east central Alberta. Established in 1947, the course features 9-holes with four sets of tee boxes to challenge all skill levels, as well as a full practice facility. The beautifully contoured 2,920 yard par 35 course is located one mile south of town.

Our Pro Shop is fully equipped to handle your needs from balls, gloves, hats, equipment rentals, plus so much more.......

And for your special events, The Vermilion Golf & Country Club’s fully licensed kitchen and lounge creates a charming dining experience. To book your company tournament or party contact our manager for availability.























   
GOLF COURSE IS NOW OPEN UNDER STRICT RULES & GUIDELINES.  PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING POLICIES & PROCEDURES FOR THE VERMILION GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB BEFORE BOOKING TEE TIMES.


BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE GOLF COURSE

- Due to limited tee times, ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A TEE TIME PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT THE GOLF COURSE, NO WALKUP GOLFERS WILL BE ALLOWED.

- Vermilion Golf Club Members & Shareholders may book up to 2 days in advance.  Non-members may book 1 day in advance.

- Plan to arrive at the course NO MORE THAN 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR ROUND.  This will help to drastically reduce the amount of traffic around the clubhouse and pro shop.

UPON ARRIVAL AT THE GOLF COURSE

- Please check in at the proshop before your round (limit 3 people at a time).

- Load up clubs on ASSIGNED sanitized power cart (one golfer per cart unless 2 golfers reside in the same household).

- PRACTICE PHYSICAL DISTANCING ALWAYS (MINIMUM 6 FEET APART AT ALL TIMES).

CHANGES TO YOUR GOLFING EXPERIENCE

- Social distancing of 2m/6ft must be maintained at all times.  This includes keeping you distance with all members of your group as well as course staff.

- Tee times will be 12-minute intervals to ensure proper spacing throughout the golf course.

- All groups will be called to the tee at their scheduled time.  You will not be permitted to tee off early and if you are late for your tee time you will have to wait in your vehicle until the next available time slot.

- No groups will be "squeezed in" and no one will be permitted to start their round off any other tee than #1.

- There will be no congregating of golfers permitted in any area of the golf course at any time.

- All power carts will be limited to 1 rider unless you reside in the same household, no pull carts or golf club rentals will be available until further notice.

- All power cart rentals will be sanitized after each round.

- All high-touch areas on the course have been removed including ball washers and bunker rakes.  On course benches have been removed on course as well.

- Only touch your own personal items - this includes golf balls, clubs and golf bags.

- Flagsticks are to remain in the hole AT ALL TIMES.  Measures are in place for the cups to ensure you do not have to reach into the hole or touch the flagstick.

- When in a bunker, we ask that you please smooth the sand with your foot following play.  If you land in someone else's footprint or a disturbed area you may take relief in another area of the bunker without penalty.

AFTER YOUR ROUND OF GOLF

- Maintain proper social distancing of 2m/6ft while unloading in the parking lot.

- Maintain proper social distancing when entering and exiting the cart storage shed.

- Return your rental carts to the appropriate area so it can be properly cleaned and sanitized.

- All refuse is to be put in designated bins as you exit the course or take it home with you.  Do not leave garbage in the cart for the cleaning staff to remove to limit exposure to staff.

- No congregating in the parking lot allowed.  Please exit the facility upon returning your cart.  Within 15 minutes of finishing your round.

FACILITY & OPERATIONAL CHANGES

- The clubhouse and pro shop are now open with policies and procedures still in place.  Please check with staff if you have any questions in regards to the rules and guidelines in place.

- Washrooms in the pro shop, and outside washrooms between hole #2 & hole #3 will only be open at this time. (One person at a time using these facilities).

- Hand sanitizer stations will be set up at these locations, but is recommended that you bring hand sanitizer with you if you have it.

- Tee times will be at 12 minute intervals to ensure proper spacing on the golf course and reduce the amount of traffic on the property.  Right now we are only booking 9 hole rounds for all golfers so it is fair for everyone to have a chance to play.

- The driving range and putting greens are now open.

- Driving range and putting greens are now open.
- Driving range hours are:   Mondays 8am-5pm
                                            Tuesday - Sunday 8am-8pm

- 8am (first tee time) till 7pm (last tee time) with 12 minute intervals.
NO EXCEPTIONS


** PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL POLICIES MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON ADDITIONAL CLARIFICATIONS OR MANDATES HANDED DOWN BY THE PROVINCE.

WE WILL REQUIRE THE COOPERATION OF ALL GOLFERS TO ENSURE THAT ALL NEW RULES, POLICIES & PROCEDURES ARE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES TO ENSURE SAFETY FOR EVERYONE.

THESE POLICIES ARE NOT A RECOMMENDATION, THEY ARE MANDATORY.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE IS PUTTING YOU AT RISK FOR LOSING YOUR GOLFING PRIVILEGES AND PUTTING THE GOLF COURSE AT RISK OF ABRUPT CLOSURE OR SIGNIFICANT MONETARY FINES.
